If you want to boost your stats in SWTOR you’ll need a Matrix Cube. They're made from Matrix Shards that can be obtained from Datacrons scattered across Star Wars: The Old Republic. One Matrix Shard won't do you much good, but if you find three in a set, you've got yourself the recipe for a Matrix Cube. If you need help finding Datacron in SWTOR, check out our Datacron Guide.
To make a Matrix Cube, you'll need to find an Assembler to put the items together. You'll find one on your faction's homeworld. The Republic's location is on Coruscant. Once there, head to the Lost Assembly Vault, west of the Jedi Temple. If you've pledged your allegiance to the Empire, you'll need to head to Dromund Kaas for the Ancient assembly chamber near the Dark Temple.
Matrix Cubes can be slotted into your character's Relic slot. These provide even more powerful stat boosts, but must be assembled in the correct order. The best Matrix Cube depends on your class and spec, and are also broken down by level tiers in terms of power, so reference the handy recipe guide below to figure out which one you'll make!

For now, you'll only be able to have one Matrix Cube at a time. To make a new one you have to disassemble the one you have, returning it to shards. The disassembler is in the same area as the assembler. To power it again you'll want to pick up the Reconstructed Disassembler Core from a vendor on Tatooine’s Mos Isla (Empire) or Anchorhead (Republic). This core will cost 8,000 credits.
